📷 Muffinteer Memories
For the past 5 years, 4Front Baltimore has gathered teens in its community to bake and give muffins together. They’ve incorporated education and outreach into their program. We’re very excited to welcome them back and thankful for their generosity.
🎺 Share the Muffin Movement
Will you help us spread the good muffin word? Here are a few ways you can help:

Hi [Fill in the Blank],
I’m a Muffinteer (a volunteer baker) inviting you to participate in National Muffin Day, a philanthropic food holiday, celebrated on Sunday Feb. 26th. It’s really easy to participate: (1) Bake and #GiveMuffins to people who are hungry in your town.
(2) For every Muffinteer who shares on social media with #givemuffins at least $5 will be donated to causes that support people experiencing hunger and homelessness.
For the past 9 years, thousands of Muffinteers (volunteer bakers) have baked with us in 45+ cities around the world, helping us raise $1000s of dollars. King Arthur Baking Company, Forbes, CNN, ABC, CBS’ Inside Edition, and Pickler and Ben have shared this story. Learn more about the Muffin movement on its website.
Thank you for considering.
📝 Muffin Recipe
We love all muffins equally, but this recipe is one the Muffin Man’s favorite — Honey Pear Muffins from Two Pears and a Pod. This is what Jacob has to say in our Facebook Event (have you RSVP’ed yet?):
Perfectly moist, just the right amount of sweetness, and highlighting one of the most delightful but often neglected and misunderstood fruit flavors, pears!
🧑🏽🍳 Why We Bake: Give a Dozen
Family Promise, one of our philanthropic partners, is working to help address this staggering statistic:
1 in 30 children in the United States experiences homelessness annually.
Consider pledging your support to our community fundraiser and invite you to consider giving with us as well as baking on Feb. 26th. Find a cause that helps homelessness and hunger in your town, and let us know via the Muffin Meter.
🙏 Many Muffin Thanks
We want to thank a few of the folks for pledging their support for National Muffin Day again this year:
